As responsible citizens, we should all be concerned about copyright. Images (photos, clipar, logos, etc.) carry the same copyright regulations as the written word. Luckily, there are many high quality pictures that can be used in school projects without any licensing concerns. These can include images that are released under creative commons, or are in the public domain, or are simply copyright-free.

Keep in mind that regardless of copyright, some teachers may still require you to cite where the image came from to provide proper attribution, which is good practice and is a standard requirement at the college and career level. So it would be wise of you to know the originating source of an image.
