This LibGuide will guide students in ways to build on and improve on their standardized test scores (such as the ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.). The LibGuide will also guide parents & teachers in ways they can help students as well.

While there are many free and good resources out there, Gale Presents: Peterson's Test Prep is a quality database provided by the Padua Library to help our students succeed. It is **FREE** for Padua students to use.

IMPORTANT PW INFO:

A password is needed to get into any subscription database. Padua's PW's can be found on MyPad > Groups > Padua Library > Topics. See Mrs. Frech if you have any questions or issues.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN FIND IN GALE'S PETERSON'S TEST PREP SITE:

  • Over 300 practice tests and courses (PSAT, ACT, SAT, AP, ASVAB, etc.)
  • Dozens of ebooks containing valuable study material and practice tests
  • Information on over 4,000 accredited schools
  • Scholarship search featuring $8 billion in available scholarships
  • Resume builder with over 1,000 brainstorming phrases to get you started

GENERAL DIRECTIONS:

  • Go to the Peterson's site using the link above.
  • Login OR create a FREE account (follow directions right on the page).
  • Go to > Improve Your Score > College Prep > ACT (OR...your area of specific area of interest)...or...Improve Your Score > High School > AP. Etc.
  • Most test prep sites will provide an option of an Online Course, an E-book Guide, or Practice Tests. Select the one you would like. Most of our students find the Practice Tests very helpful.
